The first thorough cleaning after laying your floor:

Remove all coarse dirt with a soft broom and a dustpan.

Vacuum your floor thoroughly or mop it with a dry microfibre cloth. Make sure your vacuum cleaner is equipped with soft wheels and a special parquet brush. Get rid of any stubborn dirt as indicated on the further part of this post

Clean your floor with a slightly damp Quick-Cleaning mop.

Start enjoying your squeaky clean, brand new floor.


Cleaning Instructions For Laminate

Weekly Cleaning: Dry

For regular maintenance, we recommend using a vacuum cleaner or a dry mop once per
week. Its special fibres have a high dirt-absorption capacity.

Monthly Cleaning: Slightly Damp

Once or twice per month, depending on how often the floor is used and how dirty it gets,
we advise a more thorough cleaning session with a slightly damp microfibre mop.
Be careful not to use too much water: it is unnecessary and could damage your floor.

1.Vacuum or mop your floor thoroughly to make sure you got rid of all the dust. Make sure your vacuum cleaner is equipped with soft wheels and a special parquet brush.
2.Fill the bottle of your Cleaning kit with water and a small amount (+/- 3 ml) of Cleaning product. Fill another bucket with clean water for rinsing out your mop.
3.Pull the lever to moisten your floor and start to mop. Rinse your mop in the bucket containing clean water and wring it out well. After that, wipe your floor again until it’s entirely dry.

Sun floor laminate floors come with HydroSeal technology and 5 years wet warranty (Eligna,
Classic, Creo and Impressive Patterns) have a water-repellent coating that prevents water from
penetrating the grooves of the floor. This means you can clean them with water without worry!
Make sure to remove any water within 12 hours though.
Sun Floors laminate floors with HydroSeal technology and 10 years wet warranty (Majestic, Capture, Impressive (Ultra) and Muse) have 4 genuine bevels and are our most water-resistant floors, because they have a pressed-in groove on all four sides of the plank. This offers the best possible protection against water, but do make sure you remove any water within 24 hours!

Monthly Cleaning: For Water - Resistant Sun floors Laminate

1.Vacuum or mop your floor thoroughly. make sure your vacuum cleaner is equipped with soft wheel a special parquet brush.

2. Fill the bottle of your sun floors cleaning kit with water and a small amount (+/-3 ml) of cleaning product. Fill another bucket with clean water for rinsing out your mop.

3.Start Mopping. Rinse your mop in the bucket containing clean water and mop again. let your airdry.

you can also use a steam cleaner on sun floors laminate floors with 10 years wet warranty, if you use an appropriate cloth that covers the steam openings to avoid direct contact with your floor. the cloth makes sure heat and steam are evenly distributed, avoiding condensation on the floor. Be sure to always use it at a low power. clean in the direction of the length of the planks and don't hold the device too long on the same spot. Check the steam cleaner manufacturer's instructions for detailed info. for all other sun loors laminate floors we do not recommend to use a steam cleaner.
